Take A Kid Fishing 2017
This year we supported the TAKF organization at Bogue Inlet Pier. Several dozen youngsters were
delivered in tour buses to the pier and were met by a good
sized group of club members. Catches included virginia mullet, bluefish, croakers, oyster toads, blow fish, sea robbins, skates and the ever popular sting rays.
Sharks, the most popular and most talked about, stayed away. A pretty day.
Making memories with young children.
For many, this was their first time fishing and they were not so sure about getting too close to their catch, but
some were fascinated by what they caught.
