Take A Kid Fishing 2017
This year we supported the TAKF organization at Beaufort Town Dock. Several hundred youngsters were
delivered in tour buses to the pier and were met by a good
sized group of club members. Catches included pin fish, blue fish, croakers, oyster toads, blow fish, skates and the ever popular sting rays.
Sharks, the most popular and most talked about fish were very scarce.
Making memories with young children.
For many, this was their first time fishing and they were not so sure about getting too close to their catch, but there were smiles all around the pier.
